Local Definitions :

Those sailors who can resonably bring sails and canvas to our sail loft for general maintenance, washing, repairs, consultation, and the occasional Friday evening beer.
Those whose boats are within reach for us to work on board if necessary.

We would like to offer solutions, for all who would like an already quick season to be more enjoyable with less hassle. One or all of the following services are available.

In the spring we will:

1. Remove sails and canvas from storage and deliver to the boat.
2. Bend on sails and check gear to be sure all is functioning properly.
   1. Roller furlers working properly, and are wound in the right direction
   2. Slides in mast run well, halyards in good condition
   3. Running rigging and turning blocks function well
   4. Standing rigging tuned
3. Install canvas and check fasteners in boat.
4. Go for a sail if necessary to discus possible solutions for any concerns.

During the summer we will:

1. Pick up torn sails, repair, and return to boat.
2. Advise about sail set and trim.
3. Help smooth out hoisting and furling operations.
4. Discuss changes, new sails and canvas, and upgrades.

In the fall we will:

1. Take the sails off and prepare the running rigging for removal of the spars.
2. Inspect sails and gear for wear and discus scheduled maintenance
3. Deliver sails and canvas to sail loft for repairs, wash, and storage.

Over the winter we will:

1. Wash, inspect, repair, and store sails and canvas.
2. Discus new sails or canvas (prices are better over the winter)
